Difficulty Level: Very Difficult - This hike is very demanding on the physical level, as it requires resistance on trails made of slippery rocks, uneven paths and difficult descents. All in particularly hot and very humid weather (+/- 90% humidity).

Itinerary:
This circuit starts at 8 o'clock in Ponta Figo, along paths that meander up the mountainside, cocoa plantations and woods. You will hear the sound of flocks of little monkeys swinging from branch to branch.
It will climb the Contador River valley to the point where one of the waters is captured. This path is used by employees of the national electricity company to control and monitor water consumption.
At the higher end of the course you will pass a succession of darker tunnels than one another. There you are in the realm of bats.
You will find the Angolar Waterfall, hidden in a cliff between two tunnels.
Return to the hotel will be the same way.
NB1: For this circuit it is necessary to provide head or pocket lamps.
NB2: This walk can be modified according to weather conditions.
NBa: Transport by car from your hotel to the starting point of your excursion / hike. The walking guide will explain the program and give the necessary instructions before starting the walk. At the end of the walk, you will return by car to the hotel.
NBb: The lunch break will be in a place arranged for that purpose.
