Independence Square, the heart of the city, where the proclamation of independence of the archipelago of São Tomé and Príncipe took place, located right in front of Ana Chaves Bay.
Presidential Palace, former Palace of the Governor of the Portuguese colony, and its exuberant garden.

Qua Téla, a non-governmental organization that promotes the sale of products from the land, transformed by local artisans.
